In the Name of the Supreme, Most High
The Beneficent
The Merciful
I pray, Dear Father, thy Heaven
Is not segregated as thy earthly church
I pray that all persuasions
And all orientations
Bask in the light of thy tender mercies
I pray for all who see to be seen
For all who hear to be heard
And for all who feel to be touched
By your love
And to my faithful family and friends I say
TUTAONANA MUNGU AKIPENDA
We will see each other if God wishes
I stand in awe
Of all Thy earthly wonder
Placed in the Garden
For all with Sacred eyes to see
And I hear the Chant
Of Angelic voices upon the Heavens
Bringing Thy children
Closer
God to Thee
And when misfortune
Hath torn my brittle sail
I grab a hold
Of a comet's tail
And when communication
Ceased in the midst of Thy Verse
I escaped the earth
And voyaged beyond the stars
In Thy vast universe
Never am I afraid
Waiting for night to end
In Your Faithful Son
I shall depend
Lest he without sin
Cast the very first stone
For, when I walk with Thee
I never walk alone
I stand in silence
Observing the Motherland in slumber
Her Sacred virtues
Still beyond the reach of man
And through my tears
I pray for those still spiritually indentured
And through Faith
Shall be emancipated by thy Loving Hand
I fall to my knees
In a prayerful benediction
And my soul is freed
Of the chains of mental restriction
And I kiss Thy soil
From which I was created
And enjoy the melody
The winds of time
Hath orchestrated
Never am I afraid
Waiting for the night to end
In Your Faithful Son
I shall depend
Lest he without sin
Cast the very first stone
For, when I walk with Thee
I never walk alone
For , when I walk with Thee
I never walk alone
