    THE WINNER AND STILL..PROUD!

    Fighting 4 my mother's pride
I promise I'll get it right
My soul's been in training 4 years
Time 2 walk into the light

    Down darkenend corridors
There is a shadow cast in doubt
But the Devvil don't stand a chance
    When the final bell rings
    The announcer will shout

    The winner and still
    UNDEFEATED
For the Black Cause I shall not lose
    I'll be there when needed
    Swollen, beaten, battered and bruised
U and I fighting side by side
    Throwing uppercuts and lefts
    For our rights
I know the Devil got a killer punch
But he's in 4 one Helluva fight

    Fighting 4 the fatherless child
I promise little one 2 be by your side
When the streets knock on your door
    Get behind me
    I shall not hide

    Down a Philly street
    A young brother was taught
    Only the hustle
But when his Black History education's complete
We'll be doing the Ali Shuffle

    And the winner and still
    UNDEFEATED
4 the Black Cause I shall not lose
    I'll be there when needed
    Swollen, beaten, battered and bruised
U and I fighting side by side
    Throwing uppercuts and lefts
    For our Rights
I know the Devil's got a killer punch
But he's in 4 one Helluva fight

    Fighting 4 the underclass
    Beneath Concrete Towers I roam
    No matter where I live
The Ghetto will always be home

    Down in the Ghetto grime
Training in a smoke filled gym
Gettin amped by the rapper griots
Gettin inspired by the Spiritual hymns

    And the winner and still
    UNDFEATED
For the Balck Cause I shall not lose
I'll be there when I'm needed
    Swollen, beaten, battered and bruised
U and I fighting side by side
    Throwing uppercuts and lefts
    For our rights
I know the Devil's got a killer punch
But he's in 4 one Helluva fight

    Fighting 2 reclaim my name
And the King I was destined 2 be
    No more guilt and shame
Time 2 be proud of my identity

Down in the depths of Hell
I'm preparing for my final bout
PRAISE GOD I WILL NOT LOSE
    When the final bell rings
    The announcer will SHOUT!

    And the winner and still
    UNDEFEATED
4 the Black Cause I shall not lose
I'll be there when I'm needed
    Swollen, beaten, battered and bruised
U and I fighting side by side
    Throwing uppercuts and lefts
    For our rights
I know the Devil's got a killer punch
But he's in 4 one Helluva fight!
