tomorrow may come to those who wish
but for the moment
a kiss will do
dreams of making love by the sea
and other sensual emotions
always begin with a wish
made by two
fate has her docket
quite filled
so for now lets remember a valentines locket
and red wine spilled
accompanied by unbridled joy and laughter
the hereafter
may be possible for lovers who strive
but for the moment
a kiss will do
paradise i once found in your beautiful eyes
into the wishing well we dived
and discovered a lovers paradise
made for two
me and you
destiny has grown tired
of answering our frantic calls
seems our love session has expired
as the morning gloom casts a pall
a misty morning
accompanied by tears
one for each of the years
we wished for tomorrow
a love that could have been
should have been
but memories tend to fade into the haze
of tomorrow
the intensity of love made
is actually timeless moments borrowed
from fate
two lovers thinking for the moment
a kiss will do
only to realize dabbing reddened eyes
tomorrow is not promised despite
devine wishes made by two
me and you
me and you
