Black_shake

to stir the griots slumber

his heart weighted by woe

once torn asunder

to have laughter and merriment

fill his weary ears

and abate the putrid taste of yesteryears

to see his rise once not predicted

to peer into his confident eyes

where once conflicted

to hear his voice now strong with pirde

to know he will fight never again to hide

and what of this simple man will compel

a man who found beauty whilst

decaying in hell

to sound the alarm and give ample warning

the man who once was is not this morning

so walk away while given the chance

for this man hath partaken in the devils dance

and though he speaks of love unbound

hatred  once the harmony of his life

he remembers the sound

let this man speak in silence

for he walks alone

a path few will dare to build a new home

for within his soul he hath but one demand

if you sayeth i am black

capitalize the man
