    RAW MEAT

June Amaru, man let them damn Talking Drums speak!

My cocoa ain't in a cup,

    I don't give a FU....Haaa! Whaaat!

    my blackness don't ooze,

    when I bust a nutt,

    I'm comin', I'm comin',

    yeah, I'm comin' strong,

I don't rent or lease, I OWN THIS SHYT!

    Right On, Right On!

"The concept of being wrong is a state of mind.

The belief that you have been wronged is a state of victimization.

If your concept of wrong has been neutered by the belief

that you have been wronged the world will not raise you up.

It will spit on your grave"

    Take me back,

the the days of Stokely Carmichael and Huey Newton,

    before the grassroots Griots

    started actin' all high falutin

"It doesn't really matter if you want to listen to me.

I'm going to shout any damn way.

And if I continue to shout with conviction I will have my say, therefore, my way.

If you stand in my way well...you won't really matter."

    My brother Ian,

didn't let me play with them other kids in the sand,

he locked me in my bedroom,

and forced me to read "Manchild in the Promised Land"

"I said it to you before but you didn't hear me.

My knees don't bend, unless I'm prayin',

and my feet don't move, unless I hear music playin'.

I love my gay brothers out there, but I ain't gay

so my knees don't need to bend for NO man.

I only dance to songs in the key of freedom.

So corporate America keep sellin' that Bling Nigga musick

to the masses and I will groove to songs sweet as molasses."

    Economic empowerment, Buy from Black,

    yeah, cliches get some support,

    but in America you're Ameri-CAN'T

if you don't have a voice in the courts

"If I hear another brotha rap about how he was dogged

by the system, man, I'm gonna up and slap his silly azz.

You can't be dogged unless you're a damn DOG!

A mongrel, a bytch, a mutt, howling on the porch,

tethered to a chain while the parade of Nations marches on.

And what are you left with Dawg?

The ability to lick your own candy azz."

My mother is not a BITCH,

    neither is my Ex,

I love my black sisters, but don't get it twisted,

you ain't my God, so I ain't gonna genuflect

"God didn't create man first. Couldn't have nah mean.

By historians account mankind first surfaced in Africa.

By my account that means the first man would've been a brother.

Ain't a Black man I've ever known gonna give up his ribs with hot BBQ sauce

    to create a woman. A pinky toe...maybe.

Doesn't really matter anyway because if God was doing the creating

his wife was telling him how to do it.

Behind every great man stands an even greater woman

telling him, "I don't care if you created the universe the last 6 days.

You ain't resting on Sunday. Trash day is Monday. Get to steppin!"

See, even God is not exempt because, according to the Good Book,

He created us in HIS Image. Which means He's got to put up

with a woman telling Him what to do too."

    A Black President,

is just a WHITE HOUSE resident,

if he can't control how money is spent,

    and more children are sent,

off to fight a war started by a Burning Bush

"Barack is a good brother..and I MEAN brother.

He's all the way down nah mean, BUT, I gotta believe

somewhere in Texas G.W. and Condi are laughin' their azzes off

watching him try to explain the inexplicable.

For real though.Good men DON'T MAKE GOOD PRESIDENTS.

Ask Jimmy Carter. Nobel Prize Winner a.k.a. bad pesident.

Who would want to be president anyway?!?

It has to be the ego trip. Long hours, the pay sucks,

and you don't get no credit for doing what's right but

you get crapped on when Congress vetoes your

Medicare billz and old folks gotta choose between eating and paying

    for their medication.

Truth be told being President sounds like masturbation to me nah mean?

    All takeoff...NO DAMN LANDING ZONE

This verse is for my Philly brothers but...

it applies to foolz in every ghetto in America.

    Ain't no reaction time,

if a cold-blooded cat wants you dead,

buy the time you reach to compete,

games over, you're full of lead

"Riddle me this Black-Man. If white people represent

67 percent of the American population and your azz

is dwindling to what..12 percent, WHY IS BLACK ON BLACK CRIME

    SO HIGHLY PUBLICIZED?

Because a white man will listen to you curse him out,

call up some other white men, and move middle-imcome jobs

out of the country thereby effectively "Killing" 150,000 families

just so he can get a 50 million dollar bonus.

Meanwhile, you sit at the crib watching Juice re-runs,

thinkin' you're Bishop, go outside yellin' yo azz off about

HOW, WHERE, WHO AND WHEN you're gonna shoot a cat.

Then when you do catch up with the dude you have a Juice flashback,

shoot at dude HOLDIN' THE CANNON SIDEWAYS,

miss dude with 16 shots, and kill a child playin' in the park across the street.

You see, crime is colorblind but a white man on a mission

EXECUTES it better. Ask the state of Georgia and the family

    of the late Troy Davis."

Cut the drums June Amaru..let's go eat some women.

I MEAN RIBS..RIBS DAWG! My bad.
