Good morning Family
Now,
Normally I have no trouble
Finding the proper words 2 say
But,
My spirit feels so strong on this joint
I pray
My words don't get in the way
I was dead on arrival
She massaged my heart
Doctors said don't waste your time
She said,
Don't you know my Brother D'ee
Gonna make his mark
It was my Soul Sister
Who rescued me
I don't listen 2 the naysayers
Thank God every day 4 my gift
It was my Sister who encouraged me
2 use my words 2 inspire, unify and uplift
As I write this down
I feel not a hint of shame
Love my Sister with all of my heart
And pray she will remain
M Soul Sister
Gotta let ya'll know she rescued me
Check it out,
Sunday my ex-wife stopped over
Saw me smilin at my Sister's reply
Showed her my Sister's Poetry
She said,
That's so beautiful it make ya wanna cry
On a Sacred Isle
We were marooned
Didn't think we had a chance
But,
Sister built a raft
And helped me forage 4 edible plants
It was my sweet Soul Sister
Who sho nuff rescued me
No one prayer can do justice
Heaven knows what's in my heart
I pray 4 my mother,my father,my ex,my daughter and my brothers
And pray,
Dear God don't allow my Sister and I
2 drift apart
Here I am
Here I stand
Hope ya'll dug what I had 2 say
Pray the Spirit shined
And my words did't get in the way
You see,
It was my Sister
My sweet Soul Sister Jill,
Who resuced me
