She started her wary journey
On St. Asaph Day
So profound
The townsfolk on the banks
Of the River Elwy
Dare not make a sound
She carried but hope and promise
On a pair of fragile gossamer wings
Not pretentious yet wishing
Life 2 portend
Of sacred omen not ominous things
She wandered through her memories
Of days filled with intimacy
Sighing in consternation
Of all that was
And never to be
Lady sail
Sail on wind o' mighty
Across rain swepped Andean Hills
Stop and pay homage
To a Warriors' virtue
And the fair Maiden's tears that spilled
She sopke 2 the proud piper
Listened to his song
Greeting entrance to
The Gates of Dawn
On morning pale
Danced with the Humpback whales
Paused to brunch on minnow and prawn
Across the Chilean border
Stood a statue carved in ice
She marvelled at the craftsmanship
Circling the statue not once but twice
On its base was etched
"To My Darling Brendeas"
In the carving doves of a pair
The wind echoed it's wanting
Through a curl of the statue's hair
The Wuthering Winds approached her
Asked if she needed a reprieve
She thanked them for such generosity
And sailed upon the Wuthering Breeze
No days to count
No calendar
Just the unbearable lightness of destiny
Fulfillment of all prophecy
And all that shall come to be
Lady sail
Sail on wind o' mighty
Across rain swepped Andean Hills
Stop and pay homage
To a Warrior's virtue
And the fair Maiden's tears that spilled
On the Eve of Forgiveness
She witnessed a prosession
Of once neglected souls
And in the Meadow of the Mystic
A dam caressed a yearling foal
So tender was her nurture
The foal's nose sprinkled
With morning dew
The songbrids sang to a soul's aspiration
As music filled the Mews
As winter raised her curtain
Flurries fell in distinct shapes
She paused to partake of the juices
Of late summer Chilean grapes
It began snowing harder and harder
Through the eves of peaks and plume
The sun stood sentry
Over the majesty
Of an autumn afternoon
Her journey once completed
Through tension and trevail
With her she carried the story
Of the Devine Brendeas' tale
Nothing impaired her destination
All Pan's friends were instructed to assist
Upon landing in the Lover's Meadow
She planted apon the wildflowers a kiss
Lady sail
Sail on wind 'o mighty
Across rain swepped Andean Hills
Stop and pay homage
To the Warrior's virtue
And the fair Maiden's tears that spilled
