IT'S ALL OVER (BUT THE CRYING)

    Break

    misinterpretation

    aggravation

    our situation

    critical

    no solution

    just revolution

    no evolution

    visible

    the psychology

    of reciprocity

    positive in

    positively out

    our theory

    of relativity

    is relatively

    played out

    no flames

    just remains

    of hearts that once burned

    warm and tender

    no august

    nor december

    no affair to remember

    yes i admit

    at times i would contradict

    do what i say

    not what  i do

    my immaturity

    my insecurity

    turned our world misty blue

    and now its all over

    but the crying

    but the crying  my dear

    feeling relief

    receiving an incomplete

    on our final exam

    on the eve

    of true belief

guess i didnt give a damn

    you  can blame

    but dont shame me

saying your love  i did not feel

    no kisses sealed

    in sequestration

    i plead guilty

    no need to  appeal

    what god  put together

    a man  tore asunder

    no soothing rain

    only thunder

    begging

    stealing

    always borrowing a blunder

    for this dissapointment

    there is no ointment

no salve to heal the wounds

once we slept  in quiet harmony

    we spooned

    now our heart strings

    are out of tune

    now its all over

    but the crying

    but the crying my dear

    grown we are

    we can see far

    beyond this brief interlude

yes i admit  i got an attutude

    when foolish dudes

    imagined you in the nude

    i always heard

when a love is worth it

a man must fight to protect

    yet i was  knocked out

    by your mental lock out

    this time i wont  interject

    much respect

    we both have experienced

    this sort of pain

    when love becomes a drain

    and a domain

    name

    becomes a regretfull refrain

    it  is

    what  it is

    what was

    is not  tomorrow

    my view was rather narrow

    but baby

always keep your eyes on the sparrow

    because i know

    he watches over

    you and me

    now that  its all over

    but the crying

    but the crying

    my dear
