the borealis sinfonia
a celestial symphony
the eyes of an infant earth slowly open
bearing witness to the flow
of anscestral synchrony
a karmic soul acquired
with compassionate expectations
as vapors separate sky from ocean
will time allow conscience
to determine mans final temptation
the son of man still smiling
unaware of his predetermined fate
the false trial before pilates scrutiny
the birth of love and original sin predate
do we have the answer
to a question that has eluded men
throughout time
is true love worth eternal damnation
do you have the strength to accept
punishment for the crime
and when the garden
was paved over to make a parking lot
so a demonic despot
could store his spoils of war
and now the christos blood
has begun to clot
do we continue to shame two lovers
as conspirators in a demonic plot
are you reassured
by your morning prayers
then why are you ashamed to be nude
during the interlude
why are you still clothed my love
why must you bury your face in shame
the father has said
to live in the spirit of the christos
is to die in everlasting gain
do you wonder if they had another choice
would they have remained together
or decided to part
i have seen so many
who say they truly believe in the father
when small waves strike
cry for the chance to disembark
i honor a mans virtue
who remained by the side
of his tempted wife
knowing blessings would be withheld
how long would we continue to grasp
a lovers hand with the abyss beneath us
i trust we must one day answer
that question ourselves
what then is true love my friend
so many who fail tend to shout
i love you aloud
have you ever denied the truth
for true love my friend
how many times did you deny the demon
how many chances were you allowed
and so it shall be argued
by hushed voices somewhat subdued
that a man and woman during
the solstice of a false dawns solitude
could not avoid the interlude
and what are we to conclude
whom do we exclude
during our reckless and shameful pursuit
to embrace the interlude
bless me father
for i have sinned
bless me father
for she has sinned
will we ever
maybe never begin
to fall in love once again
during the interlude
