Femina, Aeris-woman of the ether
...and now we're at the end
No more songs 2 write
Nor virtues 2 defend
In my heart I know
Events were never as they seemed
4, I loved her
Only in a dream
My Celestial Ballerina girl
Jete en Avant, Grand
The leaps you do unfurl
Posing seductively arabesque
I fell in love
I do confess
What is fate
But frivolous chance
A man waitng patiently
2 ask an Angel Devine to dance
Alas,
She departs
Before the music ever starts
Leaving Songs of the Mist
And a broken heart
Thy sit
And contemplate
While
Songs of the Mist
Evaporate
Into an atmosphere
Of love labour's lost
And unfortunate tears
....and now I pay the cost
Of sacrificing my heart
2 songs forever lost
Strings and harpsicord
Once played a mournful tune
2 the lunar phase of
My Harvest moon
An eclipse of my discordant soul
The enveloping darkness
Encompassing my lack
Of self control
So many nights
I informed the Goddess Venus
That you were my destiny
Now,
All that's left 4 posterity
Is a rendering so very cruel
Of
A statue of a fool
As it sit
And contemplate
While Songs of the Mist
Evaporate
Into an atmosphere
Of Love labour's lost
And
Unfortunate tears...
And so it has come 2 an end
The 9 phases of Darwin, my friend
It seems
Songs of the Mist
Can only exist
In the hearts of fools
And the souls of those
Who gain no recompense
For
Love
Labour
Lost
Farewell..
