    FANTASY

Don't shake me from my fantasy,

    brother don't let me recover,

    just let me hug her,

until I fall down from exhaustion,

Don't throw up of flags of caution,

    because I ain't listenin',

    it's my mission,

to fall in love with her before I run out of time, yeah

    Don't tell me I shouldn't drive 95

in the early morning on I-95,

my sister don't worry about me stayin' alive,

it's been a long time since my emotions

were in equilibrium with my pride,

    so if I decide,

    to run into a wall,

    it's my call,

because this life ain't worth livin' if I can't have it all, yeah

I want a  little lovin' in the a.m.,

    right before we pray Amen,

    Huggin' in the afternoon,

abstract thoughts of jumpin' the broom,

    Kissin' in the evening,

    seeing is believing,

    and what's real to me,

is every morning, afternoon and evening I speak to my fantasy

Don't make me aware of my reality,

my brother, I've been livin' beneath the underdog so long,

I'm not stuck on stupid, better believe I'm strong,

yeah, strong enough, not to be foolish enough,

to think I've had enough, of her touchin', lovin', huggin'

so don't tell me somethin', unless it's somethin'

that can contribute somethin' to my fantasy, yeah

Don't have concern in your voice,

my sister, your brotha is on the one, better believe it,

my heart is too kool to let anyone deceive it,

    but she ain't just anyone,

she's been kissed by the Father, hugged by the Spirit

    and comissioned by the Son,

    to be all mine, yeah

I want lovin' in the mornin'

before a cogent thought is formin',

    Huggin' in the afternoon,

goin' to work, makin' some room,

    for a love in bloom,

    where am I goin?

I'll be back real soon, tell my boss I'm marooned,

on her island, don't ask why I'm smilin',

    Kissin' in the evening,

don't try to decipher my reasoning,

it's just that her Soul seasoning,

    the sweetening of my Christening,

    means that I'm really listening,

    seeing all that is glistening,

    in this fantasy awkening,

    a heart no longer questioning,

what's real to me, and you betta believe it,

    only God could conceive it,

so let me go retrieve it,

yeah brother and sister, I'm still D'ee,

can you excuse me, while I slip right back into my fantasy

    Hey baby,

    how was your day?

My day?..well, let me just say,

my day is excellent now... because I'm holding you, yeah,

    now come on,

    the bills are paid, yeah,

    the kids are fed, yeah,

    the pets are fed, yeah,

let's you and me go and get our grub on,

in the four corners of our poster bed,

    yeaH, yeAH, yEAH, YEAH!
