    DEAR FATHER (CHRISTMAS)

    Dear Father Confessor,

hear my plea, this is not a demand,

can I walk the length of Redemption's Road,

for the child too hungry to stand

It doesn't matter a wit to me if this day is  questioned

    concerning my Savior's birth,

in time I pray it will be

the anniversary of Peace on Earth

I pray society will stop arguing the point

    of good and evil men,

    terrorist or freedom fighter,

both have a belief to defend

Yet, the indefensible is not divisible

when wasted blood is all that remains,

I pray the world oneday lives for love

and love is a lifetime gain

    Dear Father Confessor,

hear my plea, I pray you understand,

I pray not for revenge against men,

just the right to hold an abused child's hand

Eventually I pray the children trust enough

to walk the House of the Holy's aisle

and not cower in fear with nightmares

    of priestly pedophiles

I ask not for personal gifts

for my gifts have been a personal devotion,

within my sphere I hope to eradicate the contamination

of bigotry on the purity of emotion

    White snakes and black snakes

    no one should trust,

    both are cold-blooded serpents,

    both are poisonous

    Dear Father Confessor,

hear my plea, please endorse my plan,

let love rule without the voices of destain

who treat vows like so much contraband

Allow those who are in love spread love unconsiously,

and let hatred fall like the dried needles

    on  a Christmas tree

    I know all that begins

within the Genesis of love need not end in shame,

who was the victim, who was to blame

Just let willing minds trace the path of jubilee

to the source of all that heels,

Loving  Father, hear my urgent appeal

    Dear Father Confessor,

hear my plea, though at times I stray for Thy Commands,

please allow land mines to be tripped

by your soothing rains in Villiages of the Damned

Please allow those in Europe, the Middle East and Africa whose limbs

have been ripped apart by man's demonic deeds,

find solace in the Apostle's Creed

Racism is a disease that gestates

    in troubled minds,

sectarianism is a plague that devalues

the Creator in the hearts of all mankind

Let all who believe know Your Son

can only be discovered in deeds of the good,

not in Palaces made of stone and wood

    Dear Father Confessor,

hear my plea, place on my shoulders

the burdens of all I can withstand,

I know to whom much is given

much more is expected in demand

Please allow me to be H.D.T.V.,

    not the television

    but a man who has

a Holistic Devotion to Telemetric Visionaries

I know somewhere out there someone has found

a cure for cancers and H.I.V.

Let the Queen who loves me dearly

find comfort resting her beautiful head on my shoulders,

a peaceful place for her to rest,

I've never considererd myself to be an amazing man,

so far I am from being amongst the best

Yes I have faltered at times

but with Your Blessings still I believe

in the beauty wounded hearts healed can conceive

For my daughter who internalizes her pain,

for all who believe in love and through fate

    were forced to abstain,

For the sufferahs grieving for the setting of the sun,

for liberty, for justice, for the just and the unjust

    May Your Heavenly Kingdom Come,

and deliver us on Christmas Day
