When love's tapestry
Is woven with threads of shame
Pin%#&@$!s of a needle
Leaves tears that forever stain
Is this really you
Or just a cruel and unusual game
Digging in the past
For any skeletons that remain
Oh, thought I heard angels cryBut it was just the thought of youPassing byNever stopping With no calm 2 impartCarrying a crown once regally wornNow resembling A crown of thornsTwo hearts speakingAt the very same timeA cacophony of wasted soundNever cleansing the mindDoubts of fairly tales When falling asleepCounting the last worthless eveningIgnoring the sheepWhen love's majestyFalls victim 2 a coup d etatIs the overthrow recored in the universeOr is it InshallahPray that you'll find a reason2 remain together stillNot remain apartAgainst God's willOh, thought I heardYour children cryingBut they haven't said a wordI guess they remain upsetFinding solace in their solitudeUnder the cellar stepsTwo hearts reachingBut on different frequenciesNever learned to accept honeyWithout being stung by angry beesLike the honecombOnce a vibrant homeNow a castle in the wastelandsOnce love has flownWritten for my man Will and his estranged wife..peace and love 2 you both
